Regional Pre-Application Meetings

Most of our clients come to us having never dealt with a planning permit before. It is often only when they begin planning a dream home, a new business, or even something as simple as a shed that they discover a permit may be required.
The planning system can feel unfamiliar at first, particularly when different councils interpret requirements in slightly different ways. Our role is to advocate for our clients and guide the planning application through this process from the outset, ensuring the key issues are identified early and addressed properly.
Some Councils charge a fee for pre-application meetings. We do not. Instead, we offer a free 30-minute initial assessment to review your proposal and help you understand whether a planning permit is required, what the likely constraints are, and where the opportunities may be within the planning framework.
This early advice is often valuable in avoiding unnecessary delay and expense later in the process. Understanding the planning pathway before lodging an application can make a significant difference to both cost and outcome.
From there, we can take the pressure off by managing the full process. This may include arranging pre-application meetings with Council, preparing the planning report, lodging the application, and even coordinating design work where required.
To keep things simple, we follow a clear Step 1, 2 and 3 process so clients know what to expect at each stage.
If you are unsure where to begin, early planning advice can help provide clarity and direction before any commitment is made.
